About the Role

Begin your career with EPC Consultants and gain hands-on experience supporting the delivery of some of the nation's most complex infrastructure projects. As a Junior Office Engineer, you'll work alongside project managers, resident engineers, construction managers, and field staff to coordinate project documentation, track construction activities, and support day-to-day project administration. This role provides an excellent opportunity to develop technical, organizational, and project management skills while contributing to the successful delivery of transportation, transit, aviation, water, wastewater, and underground infrastructure projects.

What You'll Do

  • Assist with project documentation and construction administration

  • Track RFIs, submittals, change orders, and contract correspondence

  • Maintain project records, logs, and document control systems

  • Support project scheduling, progress tracking, and reporting

  • Coordinate with field staff, contractors, consultants, and owners

  • Prepare meeting agendas, minutes, and action item logs

  • Review project documents for completeness and accuracy

  • Assist with payment applications, quantity tracking, and project closeout documentation

  • Support day-to-day office engineering and project coordination activities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Engineering Technology, or a related field preferred (or equivalent combination of education and experience)

  • 0–3 years of experience supporting construction or infrastructure projects

  • Internship or co-op experience in engineering, construction management, or public works is a plus

  • Basic understanding of construction plans, specifications, and contract documents

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)

  • Familiarity with Bluebeam, Procore, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, SharePoint, or other project management/document control software is a plus

  • Ability to work collaboratively with project teams, owners, consultants, and contractors

  • Willingness to travel to project sites as needed
