The improvements were designed to address regional congestion while providing safer and more efficient movement of people and goods across the northern San Francisco Bay.
The project included roadway improvements, bridge access modifications, traffic management enhancements, bicycle and pedestrian facilities, and operational improvements that maximize the efficiency of existing infrastructure. Together, these improvements support long-term regional mobility while enhancing safety and reliability for commuters and freight traffic.
EPC Consultants provided construction management support throughout project delivery, assisting with construction oversight, contractor coordination, quality assurance, field inspection, and project documentation. EPC worked collaboratively with Caltrans and project stakeholders to help deliver this important regional transportation improvement program.
