Mr. Drake has 37 years of experience in engineering, design, construction, and program management on large urban infrastructure, heavy civil underground, and rail transit projects. He is an industry renowned construction manager for underground work and has a breadth and depth of knowledge relative to underground construction with special expertise in tunneling and construction management. Ron has a BS in Mining Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines and is a registered professional engineer in Colorado, Texas, California, and Washington DC. He has served in executive management roles for large transit programs and has extensive knowledge of project delivery means and methods. He is known for his innovative approaches to improve project performance through initiatives to save time, costs and reduce construction impacts.
